Sebastià Pons

Sebastià Pons, vice president and president FMC Europe, Middle East, Africa, joined FMC in 2017 with the FMC-DuPont transaction as portfolio strategy and strategic marketing director for the EMEA region. Mr. Pons has more than 25 years of experience in the crop protection industry, most of them at DuPont in a variety of technical and commercial leadership roles, including management of the P&L for South Europe in 2015.

During his career, Mr. Pons has contributed to the technical, marketing and sales development of key assets including the diamide franchise. He is focused on driving strategic value creation and has a passion for building strong marketing and sales competencies within his organization.

Mr. Pons has a bachelor’s degree in Agronomy from the University of Seville, a master’s degree and PhD in Agronomy from the University of Lleida, and an MBA from EUNCET-UPC Business School in Spain.
