Brian Song

Brian Song, PhD, is an experienced financial professional currently serving as the Head of Quant & AI for North America at FNZ Group since February 2023. Prior to this role, Brian held the position of Head Quant at YieldX from July 2022 until its acquisition by FNZ Group in January 2023. Brian's extensive background includes serving as Managing Director and Head of Front Office Strategists at SMBC Capital Markets from June 2014 to June 2022 and as Executive Director at UBS Investment Bank from September 2006 to June 2014. Earlier in Brian's career, a role as a Quantitative Analyst was held at Countrywide in 2005-2006. Brian earned a Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Southern California between 1999 and 2005 and attended Peking University.
