Alison Watters

Alison Watters currently serves as a Farmer Director at Fonterra and chairs the Sustainability and Innovation Committee. Watters is also the Chair of Totally Vets Limited and has held the position of Farmer Director at Livestock Improvement Corporation (LIC) while actively contributing to various committees. As a board member for the High Value Nutrition National Science Challenge and a director at MetService, Watters has demonstrated leadership in people and culture initiatives. Involvement in the Horizons Dairy Leaders Group evidences a commitment to sustainable farming practices. Previous leadership roles include Chair of AsureQuality, Deputy Chair at Nga Tawa Diocesan School, and contribution to Equestrian Sports NZ and Eventing NZ. Watters holds a PhD in Human Nutrition from Massey University, reflecting a strong educational background.
