John Musser

John Musser has extensive experience in engineering and technology leadership within the automotive and software industries. At Ford Motor Company, John served as Senior Director of Engineering for Ford Pro and led AI, data, and analytics teams for the Autonomous Vehicles group. Prior to Ford, John founded and served as CEO of API Science, Inc., specializing in API strategy and implementation before the company's acquisition by APImetrics. John's experience also includes a role as VP of Engineering at Basho Technologies, where John contributed to the development of the Riak NoSQL database, and founding ProgrammableWeb, a leading resource for open APIs. Additionally, John authored a report on Web 2.0 principles in collaboration with O'Reilly Media. John holds a MA in Computer Science, Business Administration, and Sociology from New York University, as well as a BA in Business Administration from Rutgers University.
