Ancy Lewis

Ancy Lewis serves as the Assistant Director of Field Education at Fordham University since November 2018, overseeing the recruitment of national field placement sites and collaborating with approximately 50 agencies to build enduring relationships. In addition to this role, Ancy is an instructor for the Seminar in Field Instruction and has created a learning module to prepare first-year master’s in social work students for their practicums. As co-founder of Velocity Visions, Inc., Ancy delivers workshops and training for over 500 individuals and organizations, focusing on wellness and professional efficacy. Previous experience spans various roles in the mental health and social work sectors, including work as a Gentle Behavioral Sleep Coach, Independent Third Party Reviewer, and Field Work Supervisor. Ancy holds a Master’s degree in Social Work from New York University and a Bachelor’s degree from Stony Brook University.
