Jessica Glander

Architectural Historian/historic Preservation Specialist

Jessica Glander is an experienced Architectural Historian and Historic Preservation Specialist with a focus on historic significance and preservation practices. Currently employed by the U.S. Forest Service since September 2020, Jessica conducts research, documents historic properties, and evaluates project impacts under Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act. Responsibilities also include creating management plans, preparing bid specifications, and overseeing contracts. Previous roles include Historic Preservation Specialist and Program Manager with Northern Bedrock Historic Preservation Corps, where Jessica managed preservation projects and organized training programs. Jessica holds a Master's Degree in Historic Preservation from Clemson University and The College of Charleston, along with a Bachelor's Degree in Anthropology from the University of Minnesota Duluth.
