Jennifer Tan

Jennifer Tan is an accomplished actuarial professional with extensive experience in corporate actuarial functions and risk management, currently serving as Assistant Vice President at Foresters Financial since May 2007. Responsibilities include overseeing Canadian IFRS valuation reporting, supporting the Appointed Actuary, enhancing analytics for better results understanding, and managing enterprise-wide valuation reporting and product profitability oversight. Jennifer has held various leadership roles, including oversight of financial risks and capital management, and has contributed to the development of risk management processes and frameworks. Prior to Foresters Financial, Jennifer worked at Manulife as a Senior Actuarial Associate and has a Bachelor of Mathematics degree in Actuarial Science and Statistics from the University of Waterloo.
