Heather Garcia

Heather Garcia, M.Ed. is an accomplished education professional with extensive experience in various educational environments. Currently serving as a Postsecondary Success and Testing Specialist for Fort Worth ISD since September 2025, Heather previously held the role of Campus Coordinator at Texas Christian University from January 2023 to September 2025, focusing on supporting low-income, first-generation, and underrepresented students in achieving their postsecondary goals. Heather's background also includes significant teaching experience as a 9th Grade ELA Instructor for Keller ISD and Lewisville ISD, where curriculum development and community engagement initiatives were key responsibilities. Other notable roles include Executive Administrative Assistant for Development at the SPCA of Texas and managerial positions at Starbucks Coffee Company and First State Bank of Gainesville.
