Aleksi Soini

Aleksi Soini is an experienced professional in partnering and business development, currently serving as the Partnering and Business Development Director for Renewables at Fortum since August 2020, where responsibilities include developing the Renewables business strategy and leading engagements in strategic growth areas. Previously, Aleksi held positions at Nokia as the Head of Financial Sponsor Projects, focusing on business development with infrastructure investment funds, and at Wärtsilä, leading project development and financial services for investor-owned power projects. Early career experience includes roles as an analyst in M&A advisory at Summa Capital Oy and Citi, and as a financial analyst in fixed income asset management at OP Financial Group. Aleksi holds an M.Sc. in Finance from Aalto University and a B.Sc. in Finance from Helsinki School of Economics, alongside exchange studies in International Business at the University of Sydney.
