Sophia B.

Sophia B. currently serves as the Director of Artificial Intelligence Policy and Director of Policy Programs at the Foundation for American Innovation since March 2025. Prior to this role, Sophia held the position of George C. Marshall Fellow at The Heritage Foundation from April to September 2025. From June 2023 to April 2025, Sophia worked as the Director of Strategy & Partnerships and Chief of Staff at Horizon Institute for Public Service. Sophia's experience also includes serving as Chief of Staff at fp21 from September 2021 to May 2023, and interning at the Atlantic Council as a Transatlantic Security Initiative Research Intern in late 2020, as well as interning at Hudson Institute in the same year as a Transatlantic Relations Research Intern. In June 2019, Sophia was a Fellow at Hudson Institute Political Studies. Educationally, Sophia holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of California, Berkeley.
