Gebriela B. has had a varied and successful career, beginning with their role as an Administrative Analyst at the University of California, Los Angeles from 2008 to 2015. During this period, they ensured principal investigators were in compliance with applicable institutional, federal, and state research requirements, and performed preliminary reviews of complex research protocols. Gebriela also supervised and trained five student clerks.

In 2015, Gebriela joined FundAthena Inc as an Operations & Marketing specialist, where they helped the founding team raise an initial $1 million Seed Round of financing for a Financial Services startup. Gebriela drafted legal agreements and generated content for the website, blogs, and newsletters.

Gebriela then moved to Urban Translations in 2016 as the Director of Operations. Her role included drafting and reviewing contracts with enterprise clients, ensuring compliance with contract terms during software product launches, and leading weekly meetings.

In the same year, Gebriela joined Robert Half Legal as a Recruiting Manager & Staffing Manager. During their time there, they were responsible for business-to-business lead generation, resulting in revenue growth of over $200,000, and recruited legal candidates utilizing job boards, networking, and internal database through SalesForce.

Most recently, Gebriela joined Founders First Capital Partners in 2021 as their Chief of Staff & Associate General Counsel.

Gebriela's experience has been varied and successful, with roles ranging from Administrative Analyst to Chief of Staff & Associate General Counsel. Gebriela has been responsible for recruiting, hiring, and training compliance consultants and legal professionals, implementing strategies for inclusion, and negotiating fee terms with clients.

Gebriela B. completed a Doctor of Law (JD) from Pepperdine Law between 2011 and 2014. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Physiological Psychology/Psychobiology from the University of California, Los Angeles between 2003 and 2008.
