Jody Simon

Jody Simon is a seasoned attorney specializing in transactional entertainment law, currently serving as a Partner and Chair of the Production Company Practice at Fox Rothschild LLP since October 2012. Simon has also held leadership roles at Provisors since 2013, including Group Leader for Entertainment and a member of the Executive Committee for Silicon Beach. Prior experience includes ownership at Peter, Rubin & Simon, LLP and Raskin Peter Rubin & Simon, along with a tenure as Partner at Lord, Bissell & Brook LLP and Heenan Blaikie LLP, where a focus was placed on the development, production, and exploitation of television and film, particularly regarding Canadian content and international co-productions. Simon served as a Governor for the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences for ten years, including during the post-9/11 Emmy disruptions, and was part of a committee that significantly increased broadcast rights fees. Education includes a JD from Columbia Law School and a BA from Sarah Lawrence College.
