Michael Frankel

Michael Frankel, CFA, is the founder of Frankel & Company, established in June 2013, providing strategic financial and operational consulting to North American technology firms, from startups to those with over $100 million in annual revenue. Prior to this, Michael served as Sr. Manager of Special Projects at Wave HQ, contributing to the company's acquisition by H&R Block for $537 million. As an Investment Manager at MaRS Discovery District, Michael managed a $50 million seed fund and was involved in notable investments including Locationary and SurfEasy. Additionally, Michael has experience as a Sr. Analyst at Innovation Advisors, focusing on technology M&A and capital raising for prominent clients such as Microsoft and Google, and briefly worked as an Analyst at RBC Dominion Securities. Michael holds a CFA charter and studied at Huron University and The York School.
