Brian Bot

Brian Bot currently serves as the Director of AI & Data Science Partnerships at Fred Hutch, where significant achievements include raising over $60 million to launch the Cancer AI Alliance and acting as the Executive Director of its Strategic Coordinating Center. Prior to this role, Brian was a Data Strategy Consultant at the Gates Foundation, leading the Analytics Unit and guiding data-driven programmatic strategies. Brian's earlier tenure at Sage Bionetworks encompassed roles from Chief of Staff to Principal Scientist, during which Brian developed strategic plans, engaged in data justice initiatives, and facilitated major collaborations, including a notable study on blood pressure involving over 200,000 participants. Brian's career began at the Mayo Clinic, focusing on advanced statistical methods for clinical trials and cancer research. Brian holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Statistics from the University of Minnesota.
