Jonathan Dufek

Jonathan Dufek is a seasoned engineer with a focus on operational improvement in the mining sector. Currently serving as a Senior Engineer at Freeport-McMoRan since November 2019, Jonathan has extensive experience in various engineering roles, including a tenure as Product Manager at Hexagon Mining and Split Engineering. Previous positions at Freeport-McMoRan included Mine Engineer II and Research Engineer, demonstrating a strong foundation in both practical and research aspects of mining engineering. Jonathan holds a Master of Engineering in Mining and Mineral Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, both from the University of Arizona.
