Richard Zollinger

Richard Zollinger is an accomplished accounting professional with extensive experience in management and technical accounting. Currently serving as an Accounting Manager at Freeport-McMoRan since July 2010, Richard oversees a team of five Sr Accounting Supervisors and Technical Accounting Specialists and is responsible for managing monthly SOX reviews. Previously, Richard held the position of Technical Accounting Specialist at the same company, where responsibilities included preparing quarterly analyst forecasts and coordinating SOX controls. Richard's career also includes a role as Senior Accountant at Cloud Peak Energy, participating in the IPO process, and at Rio Tinto Energy America, where Richard worked as a site accountant before transferring to corporate headquarters. Richard holds a Master of Accounting degree from Utah State University, obtained between 1990 and 1994.
