Ronald Gutierrez

Ronald Gutierrez is an experienced geologist and business manager with a robust background in mineral exploration and development. Currently serving as the General Manager for Business Development in Peru at Freeport-McMoRan, Ronald leads a team of 15 professionals focused on discovering world-class copper deposits. Previous roles include Gerente de Exploración at CumbrEx, where Ronald managed a team of twelve geologists on various projects across Peru and Central America, and Sub-Gerente de Exploración at Lupaka Gold Peru, overseeing the generation and evaluation of new exploration targets. Ronald's extensive career in geology is supported by a Master of Science in Economic Geology from the Colorado School of Mines and a Bachelor's degree in Geological Engineering from Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos. Additional qualifications include a Quick MBA in Business Administration and a diploma in Human Resource Management.
