Jake Felser

Head of Engineering at Freight Farms

Jake Felser is the current head of engineering at Freight Farms. Prior to this, they were VP engineering at eatsa from March 2017 to July 2019, where they built restaurant technology for the digital era. From July 2013 to March 2017, Jake was a senior engineer and project manager at Cooper Perkins, Inc., developing the next generation of highly integrated electro-mechanical products. Jake was also a co-founder at LittleBonsai from June 2011 to July 2013, where they created beautiful, sustainable, and responsible consumer products. Jake has also served as an advisor at Tulip from June 2015 to January 2017, and as a co-founder at Iomys Labs, LLC from March 2010 to May 2011. Jake's first internship was at Makani Power from May 2010 to August 2010, where they optimized structures with code and designed and built tethers (US patent 8,921,698). Jake's second internship was at Promethean Power Systems from October 2008 to March 2010.

Jake Felser has a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Franklin W. Olin College of Engineering and a degree in Conservation and Ecology from School for International Training (SIT).
