Lauren Lin

Lauren Lin is an accomplished womenswear designer with extensive experience in the fashion industry, currently serving as a Womenswear Designer at French Connection since July 2021. In this role, Lauren manages the occasion wear department, specializing in designing soft wovens and dresses while utilizing tools such as Procreate, Illustrator, and Photoshop to create tech packs and oversee fit proto sessions. Prior experience includes serving as a Junior Womenswear Designer at French Connection, where responsibilities encompassed managing occasion wear, updating styles on PLM, and sketching designs. Earlier roles at SELF-PORTRAIT LTD involved managing knitwear, swimwear, and kidswear divisions, where Lauren created detailed tech packs, conducted market research, and designed intricate fabric artworks. Initial industry experience included internships at Erdem and SELF-PORTRAIT LTD, where foundational skills in product development, design research, and technical support were cultivated. Lauren Lin holds a BA (Hons) in Fashion Design from the University of Leeds.
