Robert Kossmann

Robert Kossmann serves as the Executive Vice President and Chief of Medical Affairs at Fresenius Medical Care since July 2014, where responsibilities include overseeing global medical affairs and serving as Chief Medical Officer for FMC Care Enablement. Prior to this role, Kossmann held several positions within Fresenius Medical Care, including Chief Medical Officer and Senior Vice President of the Renal Therapies Group, and has extensive experience as a Nephrologist and Medical Director in dialysis units. Additionally, Kossmann is a member of the Renal Physicians Association and previously held leadership roles in the Medical Review Board and the AMA RUC. Education includes a Doctor of Medicine degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine and a Bachelor of Arts in Biology. Kossmann has maintained medical licensure in New Mexico since 1994.
