Accounting software provider FreshBooks has announced the appointment of Mara Reiff in the new position of Chief Data Officer. In her role, Ms. Reiff will lead a transformation in the way the company acts on data, overseeing a team that will aim to connect corporate strategy, customer, and business objectives with data-driven insights.

Ms. Reiff comes to FreshBooks from Bell Canada, where, as a VP within the Customer Experience team, she drove AI programs and helped to develop world-class software applications. In 2020, she was recognized by IBM as a Global Woman Leader in AI, an award that honours exceptional women who are shaping the future of artificial intelligence.
