Janice Simmons

VP, Chief Culture & Learning Officer at Froedtert Health

Janice Simmons, PhD, is vice president and chief culture and learning officer (CCLO). In this role Janice leads the Organizational Development and Organizational Learning teams, overseeing the functions of clinical and online learning, clinical support systems and organizational development initiatives. The CCLO is also responsible for overseeing the creation and implementation of knowledge management processes and tools and leading change management throughout the organization.

Most recently, Janice worked as principal director of talent strategy and organization development for Accenture, a worldwide consulting company, where her clients included a Fortune 25 health care company, as well as clients in the airline, automotive and hospitality industries among others. She also held the roles of senior director of human performance for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan and vice president of talent and organization for Johnson Controls.

Janice holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from DePauw University, Greencastle, Ind., and a PhD in Instructional Systems Technology from Indiana University, Bloomington. She holds a number of professional certifications including certified Cognitive Coach and a certificate in neuroscience from the NeuroLeadership Institute.
