Sports-focused live TV streaming provider fuboTV has named Simone Nardi as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO). fuboTV which launched in 2015 as a soccer streaming provider has since evolved now, providing a wide array of sporting as well as news and entertainment content. As CFO Nardi will lead strategic and financial operations at the company and report directly to fuboTV Co-founder and CEO David Gandler.
“Simone has already been instrumental in guiding fuboTV through our recent merger,” said Gandler. “With his deep experience managing finance and strategy for companies undergoing transformations in their business, Simone is an integral new member of fuboTV’s executive team.”
Before joining fuboTV, Nardi served as SVP and CFO international at Scripps Networks Interactive where he was responsible for all financial and strategic planning for international operations. Nardi’s career experience also includes time at NBC Universal’s international channels and television production where he served as SVP and CFO. Nardi will look to leverage his M&A, international TV and business development experience helping launch services such as Hulu to help grow fuboTV’s global presence.
