Momchil Borisov

Momchil Borisov is a seasoned maritime professional with extensive experience in various engineering roles. Currently serving as a QC Commissioning Engineer and Chief Engineer at Fugro since April 2025, Momchil is involved in significant updates for the Fugro Voyager project. Previously, Momchil held the position of Chief Engineer at Rem Offshore from May 2018 to April 2025, managing support duties for multiple offshore wind farm projects in France and leading safety culture initiatives. Earlier career roles included First Engineer and Third Engineer on PSV DP 2 and SCV/ROV DP 2 vessels, respectively, with responsibilities for operation and maintenance systems. Other positions encompassed roles as Second Engineer at Vestland Offshore AS and Luxury Marine Charter PTY, as well as EOOW on oil chemical tankers at THENAMARIS. Momchil holds a Bachelor's degree in Marine Maintenance/Fitter and Ship Repair Technology and a Master's degree in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from Nikola Vaptsarov Naval Academy.
