Tom Bedard

Tom Bedard, PhD, PMP, is an accomplished project manager with extensive experience in the biotechnology and chemical sectors. Currently serving as Project Manager for Global Business Change at FUJIFILM Diosynth Biotechnologies, Tom previously held leadership roles at Lonza, where achievements included establishing a global analyst department for financial reporting systems and creating a project management office overseeing over 60 projects worth more than $200M. Earlier career roles included Commercial Development Manager and Principal Scientist at Lonza, as well as Senior Research Chemist at Union Carbide, where Tom earned a global patent for a novel catalyst system. Tom Bedard holds a PhD in Organic Chemistry from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a BS in Chemistry from the University of Missouri-Saint Louis.
