Iskender Eguz

Iskender Eguz is the current Chief Risk Officer at Fundbox. Prior to this, they served as the Head of US Card Credit Infrastructure at Capital One from May 2002 to February 2022. In this role, they were responsible for managing the credit risk infrastructure and processes for all US Card products, including credit valuations and reporting infrastructure, as well as credit intent and execution process oversight. Iskender also led a team of over 75 analysts, data scientists, product managers, process and risk managers.

Before their time at Capital One, Iskender served as an Engagement Manager at Align360, LLC. from July 2000 to May 2002.

Iskender has extensive experience in managing risk and credit portfolios and leading cross-functional teams. Iskender has also demonstrated their ability to manage through economic uncertainty and recessionary periods.

Iskender Eguz is a graduate of the University of Maryland - Robert H. Smith School of Business, where they earned their MBA in finance. Iskender also holds a BS in electronics from Boğaziçi University.
