Michael Groaning

Michael Groaning serves as the Vice President and Global Program Leader at Fusion Pharmaceuticals since January 2024, overseeing the Development Team's strategy and long-term planning. Prior to this role, Michael held various positions at Amgen, including Global Medical Affairs Lead for prostate cancer and early solid tumor pipeline assets, where responsibilities encompassed developing and executing strategies to ensure product feasibility and innovation. Previous experience includes serving as the US Medical Advisor for prostate cancer at Advanced Accelerator Applications, as well as Senior Director of Strategic Development at Endocyte, focusing on stakeholder engagement in oncology. Michael's academic background includes a Master of Public Health from Tufts University School of Medicine and a PhD in Organic Chemistry from Colorado State University.
