George Sinnott

George Sinnott has extensive work experience in public affairs and corporate communications. George currently holds the position of Head of Public Affairs and Corporate Communications at the Gambling Commission since February 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Public Affairs Manager at the same organization from July 2019 to February 2022, and as a Public Affairs Manager from September 2018 to July 2019.

Before joining the Gambling Commission, George had a long tenure with The Labour Party. George served as a Regional Director from January 2017 to April 2018, where they had overall responsibilities for the delivery of the party's aims and objectives in the West Midlands. George also held the position of Deputy Regional Director from December 2015 to December 2016, where their responsibilities included day-to-day management of party staff, co-ordinating work with MPs and representatives of regional local authorities, and ensuring compliance with the party's constitution. Prior to this, they worked as a Regional Organiser from January 2011 to November 2015, handling party campaigns, selections, and other business in the West Midlands.

George's work experience also includes a role as a Parliamentary Assistant at EmmaReynoldsMP from June 2010 to December 2010, where they conducted research, policy casework, and media-related tasks. George started their career as a Trainee Regional Organiser at The Labour Party in February 2009, overseeing campaign activities and assisting with organization-wide tasks.

Additionally, George has worked as a Constituency Campaigns Organiser for Joan Ryan MP from October 2007 to February 2009, managing campaign activities and building relationships with volunteers. George also served as a Parliamentary Assistant for Gary Titley MEP from March 2007 to August 2007, gaining experience in organization skills and liaising with various political entities.
