Dermot S. Smurfit

Dermot Smurfit has a range of work experience in various industries. In 1997, they worked as an attorney at Wedlake Bell until 1999. From 1999 to 2002, they worked as an associate in investment banking at SoundView Technology Group. In 2002, Dermot became the Chief Executive Officer of GAN, a leading internet gambling platform provider. Dermot was responsible for the day-to-day management and corporate development of the company. In 2010, Dermot took on a role as a Non-Executive Director at Powerflute Oy, a packaging group with manufacturing operations in Finland.

Dermot Smurfit attended the University of Exeter from 1993 to 1996, where they studied Law. In 1997, they enrolled in the College of Law Guildford in the UK and completed a Legal Practice Course, receiving a commendation. From 1999 to 2000, Dermot pursued further education at the Securities & Futures Authority (now FCA), earning a degree in Finance known as SFA.
