Nils Martens

Nils Martens currently serves as Vice President and General Manager of Electric Powertrain at Garrett - Advancing Motion since August 2023. Previously, Nils held the position of Chief Commercial Officer and Board Member at Freudenberg e-Power Systems from April 2022 to June 2023. Nils has extensive experience at Freudenberg Sealing Technologies, where roles included Senior Vice President of Battery & Fuel Cell Systems, Vice President of e-Mobility, and Vice President of the Global Industrial Applications Sector, along with involvement in strategic board projects from November 2012 to March 2022. Prior consulting experience includes a tenure at The Boston Consulting Group from June 2009 to November 2012 and internships at Bain & Company and BNP Paribas in 2006. Nils holds an MBA from the University of Pittsburgh Katz Graduate School of Business (2008-2009) and a Master in Finance from EBS Universität für Wirtschaft und Recht (2004-2009), along with education from HKUST Business School and Harvard University.
