Fred Norter

Fred Norter has been with GateHouse Media for over three years, most recently serving as Senior Vice President of Financial Planning and Analysis. Fred oversees a team of approximately 40 people and is responsible for the company's sales expense budget. Prior to GateHouse, Fred was with Stegman & Company for two years where they served as supervisor.

Fred Norter has a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Accounting and Business/Management from State University of New York College at Oswego, and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Accounting from the same school. Fred is also certified by the New York State Office of the Professions as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).

Fred Norter works with Bernie Szachara - President of Newspaper Operations, Edward J. Knauf - Senior Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer, and Polly Grunfeld Sack - General Counsel, Senior Vice President & Secretary. Fred Norter reports to Kirk Davis, Chief Executive Officer.
