Gerard Gerry Modglin

Gerry Modglin has over 30 years of experience in accounting and finance roles. Gerard (Gerry) began their career in 1988 as an Internal Auditor at Brown Shoe Company. In 1990, they moved to Silgan Plastics as a Corporate Finance Manager. In 2003, they became Corporate Controller at Brand Energy & Infrastructure Services, Inc., where they were responsible for accounting and finance functions, including SEC reporting, cash management, Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, and acquisition due diligence. In 2006, they served as Controller at Warrenton Copper LLC, managing accounting and finance functions for a $200 million scrap copper refinery and brokerage business. In 2007, they became Director of Finance & Administration at Aurora Trailer Holdings LLC, responsible for accounting and administration functions for a private-equity owned company with a semi-trailer parts distribution business and a semi-trailer leasing business. In 2012, they worked on a contract basis for Pretium Packaging as a Contract Controller. In 2013, they were CFO/Director of Accounting at HerndonProducts/KLX Aerospace Solutions Defense LLC, helping the company grow from $75 million to $150 million and go through a successful sale process. In 2017, they were Controller - Special Projects at Spartech LLC/Arsenal Spectrum Inc., establishing the financial reporting for the new entity and meeting internal and lender reporting requirements. In 2018, they became CFO at Buse Industries. Most recently, they are Controller for Gateway Fiber, a private-equity backed start-up company that is rolling out fiber internet service in St. Charles, Lincoln, and Warren counties in Missouri, with future expansion plans.

Gerard (Gerry) Modglin obtained a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) degree in Accounting from Creighton University between 1982 and 1986.
