Rodney Carlson

Rodney Carlson has over two decades of experience in the telecommunications industry, primarily with GCI Communication Corp. since October 2000. Currently serving as Sr. Manager of the Situation Management Center for the Technical Maintenance & Resolution Team, Rodney focuses on proactive network maintenance for core IP and DOCSIS networks. Previous roles at GCI include Manager of Core Network & Systems Administration, where oversight of network-wide IP/MPLS core systems and team leadership for 16 direct reports were key responsibilities. Additional positions include Manager and Supervisor roles in Core Provisioning, overseeing service delivery across a multi-vendor network, and Technician roles, involving provisioning and troubleshooting of telecommunication services. Prior experience at Dish Network involved customer service and technical support. Rodney holds educational credentials from the University of Northern Colorado and Rampart High School.
