Abdul Ghafor Mohamad

Abdul Ghafor Mohamad is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in quality management within the power generation sector. Currently serving as the Regional Site Quality Leader for GE Vernova since July 2023, Abdul has previously held roles such as Lead Site Quality Manager and Site Quality Manager at GE Power from March 2021 to July 2023 and June 2017 to September 2020, respectively. Career highlights include significant contributions to major projects like the 600 MW Coal Fire Power Plant at Mae Moh and the 1000 MW Manjung 4 Coal Fired Power Plant in Malaysia. With a strong foundation in welding engineering from roles at MIR VALVE SDN.BHD. and SapuraKencana Petroleum Berhad, Abdul holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from University Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM), reinforcing a comprehensive technical expertise.
