George Pickart

George Pickart currently serves as Managing Director at GE Vernova, a position held since October 2023. Prior to this role, Pickart was with GE Power from 2008 to April 2024, where responsibilities included Managing Director of Global Government Affairs & Policy, Senior Director, and Director in the same department. Pickart's earlier experience includes serving as Executive Director of Federal Affairs at Consumers Energy from 1999 to 2008, and as Senior Adviser for South Asian Affairs at the US Department of State from 1996 to 1999. Additionally, Pickart worked as a Professional Staff Member for the US Senate Foreign Relations Committee from 1987 to 1996. Educational achievements include a Master’s degree in World Politics from The Catholic University of America and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science & French from Randolph-Macon College.
