Maurice Nyakundi

Maurice Nyakundi is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in business development and management across various roles in the financial and digital sectors. Currently serving as the Country Manager for Thales Cyber and Digital since April 2021, Maurice has successfully driven growth in digital and physical card revenues while establishing strategic relationships with key decision-makers in East Africa, Angola, and IOI. Previous roles include Business Development at UnionPay International and a decade-long tenure at KCB Bank Group, where Maurice held various positions, including Support Manager Partnerships and Relationship Manager. An academic achiever, Maurice holds a Ph.D. in Business Administration with a focus on International Business Strategy from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology, along with an MBA in International Business Management and a BSc in Biochemistry from the University of Nairobi.
