Paul Yarin

Paul Yarin is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in technology and sustainability. Currently serving as the Director of Identity Technology and Strategy at Thales Digital Identity and Security since June 2020, Paul is actively involved in developing business opportunities in emerging markets, focusing on defense biometrics and biometric credentialing. In addition, Paul chairs the Closter Environmental Commission, where efforts in sustainability initiatives have positively impacted the community. Previous roles include Deputy Chief Technology Officer for Thales North America, and Director of the xPlor Innovation Team, showcasing a strong background in innovation. Paul has also held leadership positions in non-profit organizations and directed hardware engineering efforts at Oblong Industries. With degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University and the University of Pennsylvania, Paul complements hands-on experience with a solid academic foundation.
