Christian Quist is a seasoned historian and advisor with extensive experience in heritage and museum management. Currently serving as Adviseur Erfgoed at Gemeente Hoeksche Waard since September 2022, Christian also holds a position as a member of the Raad van Advies for the project "Oorlog in Arcadië: Atlantikwall" with Gelders Genootschap since May 2021. As a freelance historian, researcher, and writer since January 2016, Christian has collaborated with various governmental and private entities on projects involving tourist materials and documentaries. Notably, Christian has been the Curator and Head of the Collection Department at Atlantikwall-Museum Hoek van Holland since January 2011, overseeing the museum’s historical collection and exhibition design. Previous roles include Projectcoördinator for Oude Hollandse Waterlinie, Personal Advisor to Museum Affairs at Louwman-Museum, and Coordinator for the relocation of the Army Museum's historical library. Educational credentials include a Master of Arts in Nieuwste Geschiedenis from the University of Amsterdam and a Bachelor of Arts in Geschiedenis from Leiden University.
