Sebastian Dinjens has extensive experience in governance, strategy, and international relations. Currently serving as Wethouder for the Gemeente Velsen since June 2018, Sebastian has overseen local governmental initiatives in a diverse municipality. Previously, leadership roles include being a Member of the Board for GroenLinks, Project Lead for the National Cybersecurity Network at the Ministry of Justice and Security, and Strategic Advisor at Corion, among others. Sebastian's portfolio also features significant contributions as Programme Director for the Transition in the East Alliance and Project Leader for the Press Freedom Consortium. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Political Sciences from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and certificates in International Affairs from Leiden University and OSCE/ODIHR.
