Jan Oosterbaan

Jan Oosterbaan is an experienced professional with a diverse background in financial policy advising, project control, and education. Currently serving as a member of the Advisory Council for the Social Domain at Gemeente Zoetermeer since November 2024, Jan previously held several significant roles, including board member of three regional work companies at CNV from February 2021 to April 2025. Jan's experience encompasses teaching business economics at Hogeschool Rotterdam, where temporary appointments occurred from June 2021 to August 2024. Jan's prior positions include policy advisor and project controller at Hoogheemraadschap van Schieland en de Krimpenerwaard and strategic business advisor at the BAR organization. Jan also has leadership experience as a team leader in finance at Gemeente Nieuwkoop and De Kompanjie.
