Calen Nimmer

Calen Nimmer has extensive experience in food safety, quality management, and product development, primarily at General Mills since December 2010. Current roles include Food Safety & Quality Product Manager for the Cereal Family Favorites and Salty Snacks divisions, overseeing product quality for brands like Chex Mix, Gardetto’s, Bugles, and Muddy Buddies. Previous positions at General Mills include Food Safety & Quality Manager for the Milwaukee Plant and various R&D roles involving new product development for Progresso Soup. Additional experience includes an internship in the General Mills Culinary Center and work at the University of Wisconsin-Madison's Babcock Dairy Plant and Division of Housing. Calen holds a Bachelor of Science in Food Science and Technology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
