Jana Gaffaney

Jana Gaffaney is a legal professional with extensive experience in corporate law and litigation. Currently serving as Chief Counsel for the multi-billion dollar Blue Buffalo pet business at General Mills since September 2013, Jana has held various roles within the company, including Assistant General Counsel for the Pet Segment and Legal Director for Northern Europe, overseeing the legal strategy across multiple domains such as antitrust law, food regulations, and corporate governance. Prior to joining General Mills, Jana practiced as an attorney specializing in complex commercial litigation at Faegre Baker Daniels LLP and served as a law clerk to the Honorable Alan C. Page at the Minnesota Supreme Court. Jana earned a J.D. from Mitchell Hamline School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the College of Saint Benedict.
