Joey Bahun

Joey Bahun is a seasoned professional in credit risk analytics with over a decade of experience at GM Financial, where Joey currently serves as Senior Vice President. Since February 2013, Joey has led teams in managing credit risk strategy, refining credit policies, and enhancing credit decision-making processes. Previous roles at GM Financial include Vice President of Portfolio Analytics, where strategic analytics supported a consumer auto loan portfolio exceeding $70 billion, and Assistant Vice President positions focusing on portfolio forecasting and credit risk analytics. Before GM Financial, Joey worked as a Management Consultant at IBM Global Services, specializing in predictive analytics for mortgage insurance portfolios, and served as a Graduate Student Fellow at the Mercatus Center. Joey holds a Master’s degree in Economics from George Mason University and a Bachelor's degree in Economics, summa cum laude, from Loyola University New Orleans.
