Carlos Zarlenga

Carlos Zarlenga is the current President & Managing Director of General Motors South America. Carlos has also served as the Founder & General Partner of Qell LATAM Partners, and as a Member of the Board of Directors for Graded - The American School of São Paulo, Amcham-Brasil, Americas Society/Council of the Americas, and Fiesp - Federação das Indústrias do Estado de São Paulo.

Previously, Carlos served as the President and CEO of GM South America from August 2016 to August 2021, and as the President and CEO of GM Argentina & CFO of General Motors South America from January 2013 to December 2016. Carlos has also served as the Chief Financial Officer for General Motors Korea / Uzbekistan and Vietnam from January 2012 to December 2012, and as the Chief Financial Officer, Consumer & Industrial - Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) for GE from June 2008 to December 2011.

After Carlos Zarlenga graduated from high school, they attended Universidad de Belgrano where they studied economics and earned their licenciado en economia (honors degree in economics).
