Ross Federman

Ross Federman is an experienced scientist specializing in protein engineering, currently serving as Senior Scientist I at Generate Biomedicines since September 2019, following earlier roles as Scientist II and Scientist. Prior to this, Ross was a PhD student at Yale School of Medicine, conducting in-vivo screening of transmembrane protein aptamers. Experience also includes a research assistant position at the University of Michigan and serving as an Undergraduate Student Instructor for an organic chemistry lab. In addition to a robust scientific career, Ross is a self-employed DJ and music producer, active since July 2008. Ross was a professional drummer and primary member of the indie-rock band Tally Hall, contributing to two record releases. Educationally, Ross holds a PhD in Immunology from Yale and a Bachelor of Science in Cell and Molecular Biology from the University of Michigan.
