Emma Knott

Emma Knott is a seasoned professional in investment management with extensive experience in growth equity. Currently serving as Director at Generation Investment Management since November 2021, Emma specializes in investing in growth-stage private companies that exhibit proven technology and drive positive systemic change. Prior to this role, Emma founded Dovetail and held various senior positions at GLG (Gerson Lehrman Group) from March 2008 to April 2018, including Vice President for EMEA and Practice Area Leader for TMT EMEA. Emma started their career at Red Consultancy as an Account Manager from 2004 to 2008. Emma holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Business Administration from the University of Bath, completed between 1999 and 2003, and attended The Godolphin School from 1991 to 1998.
