Suzanna M.

Suzanna M. is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in quality control and CMC leadership in the biotech industry. Since May 2014, Suzanna has held various positions at bluebird bio, including VP and Head of Quality Control, where responsibilities encompass leading cross-functional teams to ensure compliance and readiness for regulatory submissions in late-phase clinical programs, particularly for a Sickle Cell Disease gene therapy initiative. Previous roles at bluebird bio involved senior leadership in analytical development and vector characterization. Prior to that, experience includes serving as a Quality Control Scientist at Lonza and roles at Northeastern University and Cambridge Polymer Group. Suzanna holds an MBA in Marketing from D'Amore-McKim School of Business at Northeastern University and a BSc. Hons in Biochemistry from the University of Staffordshire.
