Christy Pichichero, Ph.D., is an accomplished academic with extensive experience at George Mason University since August 2011, where responsibilities include serving as Special Advisor to the President on Internationalism and holding roles as Associate Professor of History, French, and African and African American Studies, Director of Faculty Diversity, and Coordinator of Diversity and Global Education. Prior to this, Christy Pichichero worked at Middlebury College as Associate Director of the French School and conducted research as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Stanford University, where also held appointments as G.L. Lieberman Fellow of the Humanities and Geballe Fellow at the Stanford Humanities Center.
