Eric Vollmecke, Maj. Gen. (ret), MBA, serves as the Executive Director and Professor of Practice at the Rapid Prototyping Research Center at George Mason University since October 2021, having previously held the position of Deputy Director there from March 2020 to October 2021. With a robust background in technology and military strategy, Vollmecke's experience includes significant roles such as President at SENGEX (Service Disabled Owned Business), and Deputy Director for Political Military Affairs at the Joint Chiefs of Staff. His extensive career also includes leadership positions at the National Guard Bureau, Heyer America Inc, and Lockheed Martin, as well as service in the United States Air Force. Vollmecke holds an MBA in International Business from The George Washington University and a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from The Citadel.
