Miriam Ahmed

Miriam Ahmed is an experienced academic and graphic designer, currently serving as an Assistant Professor of Graphic Design at George Mason University since August 2022, with a forthcoming role at George Mason University Korea in early 2024. With a career spanning nearly two decades, Miriam has held various teaching positions, including Adjunct Faculty at the Maryland Institute College of Art and Assistant Professor at Nova Southeastern University. Prior professional experience includes a lecturer role at Howard University and an internship at Saatchi & Saatchi. Miriam's education encompasses a Doctor of Philosophy in Mass Communication/Media Studies and a Master of Fine Arts in Web Design from Howard University, as well as additional qualifications in Graphic Design and Business from prestigious institutions.
